Hey guys, I just got back from the range and I was shooting my one day old blued/ CCH Colt SAA. Man did it shoot great! I love it!! Anyway, I was just cleaning it and noticed very small areas on the cylinder where the blueing is gone. Kinda like the gas burned it off or something. The areas are just above each chamber when looking at it from the front. So, in other words its the area above the forcing cone and beneath the top strap, on the cylinder. Did the flame/gas burn the blueing off or what?? Have any of you heard of this before? Kevin.
