I got mine about 20 years ago at a gun show in Nashville. The Tennessee Highway Patrol had changed to semi-autos, according to the vendor. He had a table full of 4" stainless GPs. I started looking at them (they all looked new), and the 3rd or 4th one looked brand new-- it had dust in the barrel. I paid $250. The OEM grips are pretty, but feel a little thin side-to-side. I got some Hogue grips in black rubber, and it felt just right. It's the best shooting handgun I have ever owned, not counting the Contender. It's the only gun I own with a name (M'Gun.)
