I concur with all the comments on LED bench lighting above, but there's another big reason to go LED... I flood the bench with an overhead lamp, but I also enjoy having medium size goose neck lights over my books, brass and bullets. In days past I was always burning my arms on the metal reflectors on these lamps. If I raised the lamp out of harm's way, then I was sweltering under their heat.

It's a true Godsend to be able to bring lights in close without the penalty of physical discomfort.
