Price Check, Aisle XD9

I'm in the market for an XD9 Tactical. What kinda prices are everyone seeing? I saw one in a local store for $499. Regular XDs are running $400. Bear in mind I live in Kali, but I would like to know what other people are paying. Thank all,

A friend of mine in Denver got a 5" tactical for $429.00
I've seen 4" regular XD's as low as $379.99

First, you have to find a Tactical - which I can't. At the gun show this weekend there was exactly ONE Tactical in the whole building (out of maybe 60 available XDs). I think the asking price at the gun show was $479, and I'm told by local stores that the regular price will probably fall between $469 and $499 - if they ever get one.

I didn't get the one at the gun show because the seller didn't want to trade, and I had to trade in order to overcome the one gun per month rule (it's a long, complicated explanation). So, I ended up trading with a different seller for a regular XD instead.

i have yet to see a tactical either in a store or at a show. from what i've read, $480 is pretty much normal, though they vary greatly on a regional basis (like any gun). one of the dealers i talked to said he sees them mostly go for about $20 more than the 4" model, and generally the same price as the ported ones.

I bought a 5" .40 Tactical back in March at a gun show for $459, $492 after tax. First gun too, and I had no idea how rare they were. Good thing I picked it up

I paid $427.00 tax included for a XD9 Sub-compact.

Well, I was able to get an XD9 Tactical for $479. Got the last one they had in stock. Pick it up in 10 days.
