Price check on Winchester Defender

I have a possible deal on a very nice Winchester 1300 Defender and I'm wondering what the going rate is. It looks like it's hardly had any action and my safe is missing any type of shotgun .

I realize the 870 (closely followed by the Mossberg 500) is considered the standard of quality when it comes to a 12ga pump. So any input as to the qualities or disadvantages of this shotgun would be appreciated.

Cheapest defender ive seen in a while was $250 and it was in great condition...
Seen them as high as $400 but I wouldnt pay anywhere near that for one.
My 1300's have been great with no problems.

That's good to hear since the gentleman is asking $250 and it would be FTF deal. That way I would be able to handle it before buying.

Depending on the condition of the gun, you've got a great deal on your hands! The last Defender I bought new was ~350, but that was in 2003.
