Hey guys. I've got a pistol I'm going to sell to finance another project but wasn't sure what a fair asking price for it would be. I've done some poking around but only seen a couple of older auctions or auctions for other para pistols besides this one.

It's a Para-Ordnance C 7.45 LDA pistol. .45 cal. model #CWX745S
Stainless model with the black grips. 3.5" barrel 7+1 capacity
Marked Para LDA on one side and CCO on the other. All original equipment.
Comes with the 2 original magazines. Original box and papers.
It's in great condition with no rust or damage. A few light wear spots from riding in a holster but that's about it.

New I see them listed for $850-$950 at the discount sites and I saw 1 or 2 old auctions asking around $700 used. My brother in law heard I was going to sell it and asked for a price but I wasn't sure what to ask for it. I don't want to cheat the guy, but I don't want to take a beating on it either. Is $700 a fair price for this piece for both of us? $750?

Also, I have a Wilson Combat magazine that goes with it and Comp-Tac CTAC holster for it. I thought I'd ask $15 for the magazine and $40 or $50 for the holster used. Too much? Not enough?

Oh, and that isn't rust in the pictures. Just shadow from my crappy phone camera.

I've got the exact same model. Bought it new in, oh 2005 when i got my Ohio CCW. Added Crimson Trace grip panels and the shop bolted them up for me.

I've literally fired *maybe* 200 rounds through it. It lived in a horizontal shoulder holster for a couple years on me loaded with Rem Golden Saber 45s.

And like you I've considered selling it to help finance the Armalite AR-10 20" SS that I've got the hots for.

Just went and grabbed the green Para plastic box and looks like I paid $869 for the CCO (nice local shop/range where I'm a member)

I think $750 would be fair. $700 is a little thin. I'd want basically $1000 for my with the CT already on it - else I'd pull it and eBay it seperately if the buyer didn't want it.

My $0.02

I had the same model that I sold for $700.00 with an extra set of nice grips. Those have the best DA trigger from the factory of any gun I've shot. I kinda wish I'd kept it.

I don't really know much about Para's, but does Para also make a diff auto where the trigger is set when the slide is racked, and it produces a very short trigger pull? Or it that what the above gun does and its still called a DA?
