Price Check SA Mil-Spec

Local Dealer here in Illinois has 3 new in box Springfield Armory Mil Spec PB9151L (Stainless Steel 5") .45's for 499.99... (These are the Mil-Spec and not the GI WWII Models).

Is this as good of a deal as I think that it is? or am I just crazy?

This has me second guessing my plans for the WWII GI Mil-Spec Commander...

BTW, you don't have to customize that thing. It shoots the same diameter .45 and makes the same size hole as the $1,500.00 .45's.

The same model consistently retails for about $550 around here. GI models are about $410.

I think about the standard prices at the shops with good prices here in Indiana are $400 for the WWII, $450 for the standard MilSpec and about $520 for the stainless MilSpec.

Sounds like a very decent price to me, esp considering it's in Ill.
