Regarding Arsenal AK-style rifles:

Effective 5/1/2008, Arsenal will be raising their prices 20%, due to the Euro and increasing fuel/shipping costs. Once the current supply has been exhausted, lead-times will be 3-4 months for new shipments! Translation: stock up on Arsenal AKs. Rainy days are upon us, my friends.

I just wish they would make a SLR108. It would be just like the SLR107 and SLR106 except in 5.45x39. And I'd like one in desert sand.

No kidding. I'm in the market for a good 107FR but until I can see that it's fixed I won't jump. 20% increase? On an already expensive AK? Good luck. But maybe that'll increase the value of my SSR-99.

For how much my brother paid for one of those rifles, I would have thought they would have been able to at least assemble the damn thing properly. I can understand Century pulling something off like that, but when you can get 2 WASRs for the price of one of their rifles, I want it perfect. Oh well, I'm happy with just converting Saigas. And those aren't getting any cheaper either

Bought a Arsenal years ago.
It's a Ok piece but I think that company has developed dillusions of granduer. They have gone from milled recievers to stamped, prices are up and you know the raw materials haven't increased proportionately. I have just as much fun and hit just as often with a stock Siaga and use it far more often than the Arsenal

damn, that desert tan one is sexy. I heard the Arsenal 223 aks have goog accuracy. I may have to pic one up.

Ellott brothers has the desert sand .223 arsenal in stock for $699

RSR group has them for $715.

You need an FFL login to see the prices, but thats what they are. I havent bothered to look yet, but I assume the desert sand models are difficult to find. They only have a few. They are gorgeous. I would get one but I got bit by the 5.45 bug.
