Price of Colt .380 Gov. SS?

A buddy is willing to sell me his COLT .380... Series 80 Stainless Steel Government pistol. It is in excellent condition with one mag, the original box and papers and two IWB holsters. One is a nice leather holster. I haven't seen the other.

He is asking $500. How is that price?

I saw one in a local store. It was almost NIB. I won't tell you what they were asking until I get some responses.

Cheapest one on GunsAmerica is listed at $650. Others up to $850. I think $500 is a deal.

With holsters that is great deal. I paid $475 for mine with two mags and no holster.

I snagged it! It really is a beauty. It is Stainless. He also threw in some boxes of ammo.

I hated to spend that kind of $$ on a .380.....I hope I'm not tempted to sell it some day.

I know...

It hurts to spent that kind of cash on a 380, but shoot it and you will be comforted. They are the sweetest shooting 380 around. The one that I had was boringly accurate and dependable. I was an idiot, and sold mine, and now i cant find one in that kind of shape for under twice (or even 3X) what i paid for it. Hold on to that little 380, and you will never regret buying it

$500 is a good price. I sold a excellent condition stainless Government .380 last year for $450.

The 27th edition of Blue Book Of Gun Values list $595 as a 100% (NIB)
price, with $495 being a 98 per center. So, $500 wasn't a bad deal at
all. This gun was made from 1989 to 1997. enjoy~!
