primer seating cci #41

today im loading 223 win. brass and lc 06 brass ........when seating the primer the win. brass seems to be tighter than the lc 06 brass......... im wondering if i swaged the lc brass way to deep? or is that possible....... i know im using the correct rod in the swage........they are flush look good.....or is that the way lc brass is? thanks

I'm assuming you are using the Dillon Super Swage? If so, there is no way to swage too deep.

Is it all fired brass? Primer pocket might have loosed up a little more in the LC. My once fired ADCOM does the same thing. Terribly loose if I'm loading toward the max.

yeah using super swage .......... the win. brass seems like its tighter than the lc 06 brass i just swaged.........

i have used the 41's in once fired and swaged LC brass and it was still pretty darn tight. even my new IMG brass was easier to prime with the 41's
using a lee hand primer./

I bought several thousand #41s in June and they are noticeably harder to seat in LC brass than any other small rifle primers I've ever used. I wish I didn't have so many of them because it's very annoying.
