Carter's country on I-10 at Wilcrest has small pistol, small rifle, large rifle and pistol magnum primers in stock. Limit 200 $4.37 per 100

Thanks for the heads-up, FatboyHD. I would happily pay $43.70 per k but am in London at the moment and won't be back in town until Saturday. Hopefully they'll still be in stock when I return. I've got two ARs waiting to be picked up and need to size and load some 300 Blackout ammo.

Don't be hard on those who pay more than you would. If you don't have any of a certain component, you don't have a choice. Just shop around and get the best price possible. I monitored Gun Broker - saw excessive prices. Visited local stores Winchester Virginia empty! Constantly monitored online sites. Found just what I needed at Harrisonburg Gun Show @ Federal SPP 42$ per k w/ no shipping/hazmat. Now I am ready for a season of shooting.

Did the above process for bullets and powder! Have 9mm coming from Missouri Bullet and powder from Natchez - at normal prices.

There was a guy there getting rifle primers, and they will let you get 200 rifle and 200 pistol. Sooooooo we bought 200 of each and exchanged outside. Go back tomorrow with couple of friends need to run about a thousand rounds.

Hey MaterDei, will get some for you just hit me up when you get back in town. Katy is not that big you couldn't be too far away. If not will save for when I can get my hands on some 223 dies and conversion kit and reload myself. It will be a while so no rush on hitting me up for them.

Primers are selling in virginia for $65 per 1000 any manufacture any size. My LGS is still selling them for $32 per 1000 in the country by my other house. He has a $2000 order coming in I asked him to set a few aside for me.

Wow, no wonder why he still has some on the shelf.

4 years ago during this nonsense I walked into a small, run down local shop with a friend for primers and powder. Seems my friend had known this guy for years. Fella said he'd had a 4lb jug of AA No 5 sitting on the shelf for about 3 years. Said someone wanted it, he ordered it and the guy never returned. He said, "I'll let it go for $115.00."

I bet it's still sitting there.

He had many 1k boxes of small pistol primers behind the counter. I asked him to grab me one and the price. He opened the box, pulled out a tray of 100, and set it on the counter and said, "$3.50".

"C'mon," I replied, "how much for the whole box?"

"I'm only sellin' 'em by the hundred," he said.

"Mister, I don't even bother to sit down behind my bench to load by the hundred. I'm not going to buy 'em by the hundred."

I told my buddy I'd meet him out in the car when he was done his business.
