I recently suffered a Rotator Cuff injury that will "probably" result in my selling my 2 near new 870 HD Shotguns and looking for a semi....I love the looks of the 1187 Police but I've heard reliability concerns...That would be my first choice...I guess I'm looking for some encouragement...I have an older video (Have'nt watched it for awhile) of some then well known instructor going through the paces with a Remington 1100 built by someone who was equally well known at the time.
Maybe someone can refresh my memory....I'm open to suggestions guys...You've taught me much...Thanks, Zebulon

BTW, I'm further handicapped by the fact that I'm pretty much convinced that the way a firearm looks on you is secondary to whether it functions reliably or not.....:D

Go look at the Beretta 390 and 391. Then look at the Winchester SuperX2. Then the Browning Gold. I would not advise anyone to buy an 11-87, the odds of getting one that works the way a quality shotgun should are not high enough IMO.
