Hey guys & gals, we're hosting Steve Krystek and Brian Hartman of PFC Oct 4 & 5 in Elizabeth, CO for their Fighting with Firearms-09 course. This is a combo pistol & carbine course but you can take the course with just your pistol, just your carbine or both.
This is going to be some great training with an outstanding pair of instructors that are, as one of the guys I know put it, "So good I'd just give up if I saw them coming down a hallway toward me."
Topics covered from the PFC Flyer:
Combative marksmanship & manipulations
Shooting responses
Proper after-action procedures
Fighting up close
Precision engagement at close & extended ranges
Bilateral weapon operation
Combative & unconventional shooting positions
Dynamic & deliberate movement
Horizontal & vertical displacement
Multiple adversaries
Fighting from the ground up
Problem solving crisis scenarios
As long as you're had a formal course in gun safety, handling & marksmanship & are familiar with your weapon & gear you should be fine.
Mandatory Equipment:
Semi auto pistol & 3+ mags
Strong side belt holster & support side mag carrier(s)
Supportive belt for the above
Eye & ear pro
800+ rounds of factory pistol ammo (estimate)
Optional/Suggested Equipment:
Tactical carbine with sling & 3+ mags
Magazine carrier system
400+ rounds factory carbine ammo (estimate)
Long pants & knee pads highly recommended
Hydration pack & extra water
Maintenance & cleaning kit
Concealment garment
Duty gear & body armor if applicable
Cost is $375 per person or $700 for a pair (makes a great date)
