It’s not pretty but it’s coming along and very functional- I wanted a CC that was easy to carry but packed more that 6 or 8.

I’ve had a -43 but found it was too small for my hand. The -26 I dumped years ago never felt right… I like the -19 sight radius. The shorter grip doesn’t print as much. I shoot it about as well as my full size Glock 19. I saw someone online do something similar and they called it a “26L”.

My usual carry is a 19 Gen 5. I have had a 19 Gen 2 since 2002 or so that was a rough police trade in.

I chopped it a while back. Today I did the stippling. It’s pretty aggressive but it feels solid in my hand.

Also picture is a “toy” in progress- got the higher cowitness sights, now to find a decent RMR red dot… it’s a PSA dagger…

-any recommendations from those who’ve shot with them?

Looks great!

I have a batch of Glocks, almost one of all the common 9mm’s but the G-19X (I have the G-45) and a G-26 (I hate the feel). I agree the G-43 is a bit small, so I don’t play with it much.

The G-48 and G-43X are two of my newest ones, I really like how the single-stack grip feels compared to the wider G-17/19/26 grip. The G-48 has a G-19 length slide so that one (to me) is a little bit easier to shoot and hit at distance then the shorter sight-radius G-43X is.

Almost all of my Glocks have either an Apex or Vickers Tactical trigger shoe. The only Glock I own with a trigger that doesn’t drive me nuts is the Gen-5 G-45. (It’s s lot more rounded and feels less “Glockish” than the grooved ones do.

That cut looks spot on and your stippling looks aggressive and well done, I doubt you’ll have it slip even if it’s dropped in the mud.

Let us know how it groups for you compared to the G-19 when you get a chance. :)

Stay safe.
