I've seen better on my DDM4 - I ordered a spare BCG from Anderson Rifles ($85) and I'm on the fence. While they're not the quality of my DD BCG, the seem to be right on the border of 'properly staked' based on my research (aka Google)

To those with much more AR experience than me, is this a good job?

Thanks

Looks good to me, the bolts certainly cant back out with that much material pressed over/into them. Remember, the whole point of staking is to prevent the bolts from backing out, which those obviously cant.

And too much staking can side load the bolt heads and cause them to break when heated up.

Those in the photo look pretty evenly done so the bolt heads are not side loaded.

I would call that pretty darn good if it was mine!
