Not sure if there is an issue with me doing this but I did want to give credit where credit is due.

So I made a big mistake while doing some regular cleaning of my Mossberg 702 plinkster by putting in the recoil guide/spring backwards (head of the recoil guide into the bolt instead of the receiver) which caused the spring to bend and start causing some FTEs as a result. So I called Mossberg Int'l up today and spoke to a guy working there and asked him about ordering the parts. So instead of having to pay the $5 in parts and then $9 in s/h, he just comp'd me and said he will do it under the warranty which is pretty cool in my eyes.

So in case any Mossberg int'l employess, or maybe even the employee who helped me, I just wanted to say a big thank you and you have earned a loyal customer (even though I was one already).

I don't have a Mossberg rifle, but a similar story. I boogered up the threads on the pump action rod on my 500. It was covered with duracoat and looked gnarly. I called them up to order a new one and they told me to send it to them. They sent me a brand new one a week later at no cost. Gotta love good customer service!
