Can i get my pap fixed? ihave a remmy model 121 that does not load properly,it acts as if the cartridge is too long. The bullet does not lift high enough to enter the chamber. So my question is what is the best way to go about a pap(pump action problem). Any advice is much appreciated.

Is this s new problem on a gun that functioned properly before? Or is it a problem with a new gun?

If you recently bought this rifle and is hasn't ever worked for you I would first make sure it is chambered for the long rifle round as some 121's were made for shorts only. It should be marked on the barrel.

Chances are the cartridge lifter is either gummed up, or more likely the tooth that actuates it is worn down to a nub and must be replaced. Perhaps a spring may be worn as well, I'm not specifically familiar with this rifle, but with a pump not feeding it's usually something along those lines.

Clean thoroughly, examine for heavy wear, replace springs, then start replacing anything worn that directly contacts the piece that's not being moved around correctly.

I ll try your suggestions. this is a gun i got in a trade ,it probably is worn parts as the serial is only 451. thanks for the help!
