My two cents and worth exactly that in todays play money, thank you,Joe.
I have no experience with any of the Turk mad guns except for a Sar B-6. It had been dead reliablle at the range with cheap ball ammo and all my lead handloads, even SWC. I liked it as it exited its box and with the addition of a spring kit and talon grip overlays it's great. My LGS continues to sell quite a few Girsan and Tisa guns so I would think they are are probably OK. If not word would get around to the locals.
I have owned 6 Taurus guns over the years that never had a problem. #2 grandson now has one, a PT1911 45 and #1 grandson has the 24/7. Both are full size. Not too long ago I made the comment to #1 that I hadn't seen him bring the 24/7 to our range trips for awhile and did he want to give it back, That was met with a resounding NO. I traded 2 others for something different but have kept my PT1911 in 9mm and their discontinued Guacho SA in 45 Colt. The 1911 is a gentle old pussycat with mild hand loads and the Guacho is quite pleasant with cowboy loads and rubber Pachmyer grips that keep it from beating up my middle finger.
