Question: I just bought a new revolver in 45 Colt calibre and a 9mm auto. I want to get best price on ammo for going to the range, plinking ammo. I am a new shooter so do not need the ultra best ammo. Just workable stuff in my Ruger and Beretta, especially now when I am learning and need to shoot a lot in order to practice. I see a company on the Internet, Bestshotammo.com has the best price on ammo. They say I can get 1000 rounds of 45 Colt for $220 plus Fedex shipping which I figured is about $22 to my house. Anyway this company is located in Marlborough Connecticut. Does anyone know anything about them or their reputation or the quality of their ammo? They say they are a family business since 1980 and supply to many LE agencies etc for practice ammo. Thanks for giving me your opinion of this company and/or give me opinions on what company might be competitive on price/quality. I can afford to order ammo in lots of 1000 rounds and do NOT reload. This 45 Colt calibre is fun to shoot but at local prices of $19 for a box of 50 gets expensive fast. Thanks much in advance. And, to all you vets out there...Thanks so much for serving.
