This has been discussed, but I've not got a definitive answer.
Yesterday I got my renewal FNB Visa card to replace my current card that expires 4/18, it still has the NRA logo and expires 4/21, customer since 2004. No mention of any changes.
If the NRA contribution is still in effect for it, I will activate it and continue to use it until the agreement is either expired or voided. If or when the NRA contribution stops I will cancel the card. I assume that if a contract is in place the options for voiding the deal could be somewhat limited for FNB.
But a 1% cash back to the NRA from this card averages about $10/month from me.
If the NRA is still getting money from using this card I wall activate it, if not I will tell FNB to go pound sand.
Definitive answer anyone?
