Question about my baby eagle...

I have a question concerning my new baby eagle .40. I know the slide stays back after the last shot is fired, but is there a way to make the slide stay back if putting an empty magazine in or if there is no mag at all in the gun?
If the gun is empty and I pull the sldie back with the safety on, it always returns and the hammer comes back down. If I pull the sldie back with the safety off, the sldie returns, and the hammer stays back. I want to make the slide lock back. Possible?

hi,
when the slide is back, push up the slide catch lever with your hand. Voila.

Forgot to mention that I tried that. It doesn't budge. The only time that lever works is to release the slide after its back when the magazine goes empty.

Try it with an empty mag.
The slide must be held back. Then eject the mag.
