Question on Draco pistols

I've seen several threads about turning these into SBRs, but what about turning it into an AOW? I think it would look sweet with one of those romanian wood foregrips, and it's only a $5 stamp :D

Anybody ever do this? I'm considering it, but have yet to find a manufacturer that can do it on a form 2 for me then form 4 transfer to me. (seems like an awful lot of hoops to jump through to change out the friggin handguard...)

I'd prefer one in or around Tallahassee, FL if anyone knows someone?
 
I can see going SBR in the future, but for the time being (ie until I have a spare $200) AOW is something I'd really like with a draco. Also, as I do quite a bit of interstate travel, going AOW lets me toss it in the trunk without notifying the ATF everytime I take a vacation.
 
Well, unless you're BFF with the manufacturer, you aren't getting out of this deal for $5.

You need to do your research and find out what they're gonna charge you in total.
 
Of course it's likely to be more like a $30-$100 charge, but since the manufacturer does it without being saddled with the $200 stamp it's still cheaper than doing a form 1 from what I've been reading. I do still have to research local or at least in state dealers/manufacturers.
