Today I bought an RCBS Universal hand primer tool and tried to prime some once-fired .45Colt brass. The spring-loaded universal shell holder would not hold the case tight enough to fully seat the primer. "Ping", the case would go flying off the tool everytime just as I started to squeeze down hard enough to actually seat the primer. Took it back to the Reloading Store and tried another new RCBS tool, and that one worked fine. Go figure.

This is one great, fast way to prime and better feel!!
Agreed....I bought mine back in the mid '70s. Any round that doesn't get loaded on my Dillon gets primed on this and loaded on the Rock Chucker (from the same time period).
