Wanted to let you know of some bad news we received on Monday. Our good friend and knife maker, W.C. (Bill) Davis lost his long battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Sunday. Bill and his wife, Wilma have been friends for a very long time. Bill and I have worked together since about 1970. He made knives for us off and on until he was diagnosed.

His family is asking, that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This is a tough time for Wilma. Any encouragement you might provide her would be greatly appreciated. Certainly, she will appreciate your prayers for her continued strength.

I have one of his knives and it is a fine example of a small unique "chute" knife as you'll ever find.
