SCAR-16S, SIG P226 9mm, and Mossberg 590.

Did a little better with it this time out. :D Last time my mathematical sight-in method was flawed or something because I was hitting like a foot and a half low at 30 yards and I couldn't hit anything at 200. This time I shot the closer stuff (mostly) clean and got most of the long steel eventually... However I couldn't hit the "hostage taker" swinging 8-inch plates behind the torsos at about 70 yards so I took a few shots at them and moved on. I think I need a 1-4 optic, or I guess I could just remove the aimpoint H-1 I have mounted. I actually do better with iron sights. I think my eyes must be messed up.

In any case, it was a lot of fun. If you haven't tried a 3-gun, get out there! You don't have to be "competitive" to have a lot of fun. The SCAR ran flawlessly and the low recoil really helps on the quick "double-taps" necessary on paper. The SIG is really accurate but my 18-round magtech mags don't lock the slide back on empty anymore (though they feed flawlessly), so that added a few seconds a couple of times. The 590 ran like a top again... I couldn't be more pleased with that shotgun.

You can also search my other vids for footage of the other guys in my squad if interested. I think almost all of them did better than I did. :D

Are the UDLP 3gun events pretty popular?
Someday ill make it to one of the IDPA events so I can shoot a 3 gun.
I enjoy your vids!

What distance did you sight in at?

I don't know how anyone could be 18 inches low at 30 yards.

Glad you had fun though.

Thanks. Yes, they are among the most anticipated matches of the year and they always "sell out". You have to pre-book online now at udplevents.net

Come to the 'hangun match' this saturday; it will be a lot of fun. Lots of steel.

Results are out... I took third in my division (Tactical Irons) and 14th out of 51 overall. I would have taken 7th overall but I got 80 seconds of penalties from all my misses. :D
