AGFC Shooting Range
Camp Robinson WMA
Mayflower, Arkansas
General Information
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission shooting range is located four miles east of Mayflower, just north of State Highway 89 on the Camp Robinson Wildlife Management Area. The range is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays, and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and on all state holidays. The range is also closed when Hunter Education Classes are participating in live firing exercises. (top priority for range use)
Skeet and trap ranges, a 50-yard pistol range, and a 200-yard rifle range are available for a small fee to all shooters.
All shooters must register before shooting, and no firing is allowed outside the open hours or any other time the range officer is not on duty, and shooters bringing loaded firearms to the shooting range will not be allowed to shoot for one business day. This rule helps ensure the safety and well-being of the public, to protect the range facilities and reduce insurance risks.
John Ringo is also a very nice guy, I've met him twice now. He signed one of his books to me, "To Jay, one shot, one kill." Unfortunately his handwriting is so nasty that unless you know what he wrote, you can't really read it....
