Rapper Young Jeezy Arrested in So. Florida

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- Young Jeezy was arrested after an alleged shootout in South Beach involving some of his friends. The 28-year-old rapper, born Jay Jenkins, was charged early Saturday with two counts of carrying a concealed firearm without a permit, police said.

Jenkins was with a group of men involved in a fight around 5:30 a.m. Friday, according to a police report.When a passer-by filming the fight refused to hand over his video camera, one of the men in the group began shooting, the report stated.

Jenkins and about nine men fled the scene in two sport utility vehicles, police spokesman Robert Hernandez told The Miami Herald.

Officers stopped both vehicles, and found a semiautomatic firearm under Jenkins' seat and another gun near the armrest when they searched his SUV.

Two members of Jenkins' group also were arrested. Tramiel De Juan Golden was charged with strong armed robbery, and Steven Lesly Savain of Kendall was taken into custody on trespassing charges stemming from previous warrant for his arrest.

Young Jeezy's album "Let's Get It" was released in July.
 
Last year, Young Jeezy tshirts with a snowman on them were trendy things to have,the snowman of course being your friendly neighborhood coke dealer.I'm sure it was the guns that made him aspire to sell blow and shoot at people but historically,one of the other guys in the car will take the fall and he'll be back on BET and MTV shortly.
 
Of course it has nothing to do with rappers going out and 'singing' about shooting cops and other gangbangers, slappin ho's, selling drugs, actively being in shootouts and murders and preaching about if a black person educates himself and becomes a productive member of society, he is 'acting white'.

None of that is the root source of black on black crime, it's the gun manufacturers, white/red/yellow law-abiding gun owners, Halliburton, the Jews, and George Bush's fault!!!!

Unfortunately this will only help his "career" as its seen as a right of passage to get arrested, especially for illegally having guns and being in a shootout.
 
When I was growing up, rap music was about the EVILS of drugs and gangs.
Whatever the heck happened around the 90's to change that?

"White Lines" was one of my favorite tunes in the '80's. What ever happened to rap like that?

I hope they get the book thrown at them, but I 'm thinking too optimistically.
 
Part of me thinks that if someone taught these a$$clowns to shoot properly, they might kill each other off, and fewer bystanders would be victimized.

I feel the same way. I always felt that 'laser sights for gangbangers' would be a good social program to start, maybe throw in some gun skool. If they knock eachother off instead of the 4 year old and her grandma at the bus stop who are in the wrong place at the wrong time, we all win.:mad:
 
I can already hear the leftist wail in the air:
