I did some shooting on some private land this weekend and brought the slow motion camera. None of this was really for accuracy, it was just to see mag dumps at 400fps  For reference each clip chunk was only about 4 seconds real time.

In order: AR15, LR308, PTR-91, myself and my lr308 vs. my friend and his prt-91 in a mag dump race.... I won, my friend trying my lr308, and the grand finale.... 4 person mag dump! The lr308 was shockingly light on recoil and easy to control.
And yes we were safe.... the only thing down range is MILES AND MILES of everglades.

On a post-it note we did some informal testing of thetargetman's AR500 armor (which was stored loose in my trunk in florida heat/humidity for a year) and it took over 150 rds of 308 m80, 5.56 ss109, and various 45 acp and 357 magnum to finally break through. Repeated rifle hits to the same spot is what got the last few shots through... and we shot both sides of the plate! It doesnt look like we shot it that much but the bullets actually smeared the impact marks together.

I used a Nikon J1. You can get them used for pretty cheap, but they dont really like heat
