I broke down and bought a trim pro with the deburr/chamfer head to help feed my Garand. Wow, what a difference from the little Lee trimmers. I bolted it to a piece of 2x4 that I can clamp to the bench when I'm using it.

I've prepped about 300 pieces of 30-06 brass now and it works great. It doesn't drift off of it's set case length, and it does in one step what took three operations previously.

I can trim, chamfer, and deburr a piece of brass as quickly now as it took to just change out a piece of brass from the lee chuck.

It takes a while to set up right, and it has a lot of friction on HXP brass, but otherwise it works great.

I just trimmed 75 pieces in about 20 minutes.

I have a Trim Pro also, and I agree with you. I have owned Forster and Redding trimmers, but I like the RCBS the best. Because it doesn't use collets, each case is held in exactly the same position and the exact same distance from the cutting head. But I also have a Giraud that I use for .223 which I shoot a whole heluva lot of, and I wouldn't part with the Giraud. For small quantities of other infrequently loaded calibers that require trimming, I reach for the Trim Pro.
