RCBS X-Die Mandrel Question

Do the RCBS X-dies use the standard FL sizing die body?

I would like the X-die sizing function without having to purchase another die for my .223 rem handloads/reloads. Can I just purchase the X-die mandrel for my FL small base die or does it utilize a different case?

I think its a different body...I just bought one but havent used it yet.

No, the mandrel alone will not work in a regular die.
