I keep seeing ads for all these new types of stocks and higher end model guns that say they reduce a certain % of recoil. For instance, I saw an ad for the Benelli Vinci and they say it has 70% recoil reduction. I've never shot a vinci but I've shot other Benelli shotguns and I thought they had more recoil than some of the other semis I've shot before (although they weren't horrible). Do the higher end models really reduce recoil that much more? The stock looks like the same stock that's on some of their other more expensive models. So what is actually reducing the recoil then?
For a comparison, would this Vinci that they say reduces 70% of recoil have more or less than say a Beretta 391 or a Winchester SX3? I'm very curious where they are coming up with these numbers and how these figures could be accurately compared to other brands/models.
