Recomend Inexpensive lightweight complete upper?

Can some one recomend a place to find a used or inexpensive lightwieght upper?

I Just picked up a complete lw-15 poly for 109 so now I am looking for a top half

I want something light, but in expensive. I appreciate any recomendations

What are your intended uses?
 
Range gun, to use with 223/556 and my cmmg conversion bolt for plinking out 100 yards. Also also possibly for use as a packable bug out gun (hence the light weight). This will be my 2 AR so I am open to other options like other calibers my primary concern is cost i would like to stay under 400. So far it looks like the best best deal is a lightly used dti m4gery upper with a cheap detachable carry handle for 420. Another option I am considering is getting an upper with no BCG using my cmmg to turn into a dedicated 22 borrowing the bolt from my current AR for 556 use
 
+1 on PSA, they are the best game in town, well any town really. Completely mil-spec uppers are a joy. I would say Bravo Company but their prices are higher than they used to be (the curse of being a good company) and PSA has comparable quality. You can also get Fabrique National barrels which are the cat's meow at this moment. I couldn't be more pleased with my upper!

I found few build quality problems with my research and found that after the customer contacted Palmetto State they were usually fixed within a reasonable amount of time. As far as good reviews they are innumerable. I am so happy that I went with recomendations for PSA!

Only $339.95, way cheaper than $420. Add a BCG and charging handle for 117.95, also cheaper than anywhere else. Their BCG's are proper mil-spec and properly tested. If you order soon the shipping is free! Like I said best game in town right now!
 
DPMS has had their quality go downhill since being conglomerated with Bushmaster, Marlin, and I think AAC. They were a bargain AR company to begin with. They are not much of a bargain any more it seems. I have nothing but distaste for the way things have went downhill since these companies were taken over. Even on this forum of niceties and love they are reguarded poorly. Older rifles seemed to be very fair at one time, but not anymore.

After trying to find build and material specs a DPMS can't match Colt, BCM, Palmetto state, or Windham Weaponry. Three of those make uppers that are very competitively priced and beat DPMS in price, quality, and finish. The cheapest DPMS sportical upper is $444! An insane amount for so little quality parts.
