Is there such a thing as a good leather gun belt that is nice looking enough to wear with a suit or dress pants? Any recommendations? I need a new belt (two actually, one brown, one black).

Thanks!

I like this guy's belts. I have one of the 1 1/2 inch UGBS models, and I expect that if you had one in standard 1 1/4 inch dress belt width, it would be every bit as stiff as the slightly larger one.

Try Filson's catalog or website. I have one of their double thickness belts and it is great. They are really sturdy and don't roll over with weight, but they look like a regular belt. I bought one for my Brother in Law and he wears his all the time for his off-duty carry.. Just order plenty of length so you can have room onder the waistband if you need it. They aren't cheap in price or quality, but if I can afford one anybody can. They have 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" widths. See below.......

Beltman

He can make a dress/gun belt that is 1 1/4" wide yet still provides adequate stiffness, or 1 1/2" tapering down to 1 1/4". I further suggest the option of seven holes 3/4" apart instead of the usual 5 x 1".

Beltman. I wear his belts with all my dress clothes. I wear them to work daily in khakis and dress shirts or polos. I wear them with jeans. I wear them with shorts. I have several to match different colors and styles of clothing. You cannot go wrong if you buy a belt from Jim Speidel.

Another vote for the Beltman ... I think I'll check out the one from CrossBreed next time I order from him as well, but my BeltMan belt is great. Sadly I've been dropping a few pounds and I may run out of holes in the BM belt ... perhaps I'll just have to shove another gun in there to take up space.
