Recommend a gunsmith for bobtail conversion - AZ

Can anyone recommend a gunsmith to do a bobtail conversion on a Colt Commander stainless 1991?

I'm in AZ and would like to stay local if possible, but if not I can mail it away. I would prefer recommendations that you had firsthand experience with if at all possible.

I love the look of the bobtail and think it will help eliminate getting poked in the back.

Don't have personal experience, but have done a lot of research -- both these gentlemen are considered top-notch in 1911 and S&W revolver land, and both are in Phoenix.

Bobtail isn't specifically mentioned on their sites, but most gunsmiths have a lot of services that aren't listed on the standard "menu". I'd give a call or email...

I heard back from the Gunsmith, unfortunately he doesn't do bobtails. But he did respond back quickly.

I will keep searching. Still waiting to hear back from Glenn

Good call -- didn't realize he was in AZ. About 90 minutes from Phoenix. Rogers does incredible work.
