Recommendations for top notch powder measure please.

Experienced Dillion 650 loader looking to start building one off hand loads for IPSC and High Power competition. Which powder measure would you recommend please?

One of the incarnations of the Redding will do you quite well. I have had mine for many years and it performs as well as my very expensive Harrels. The Harrels are really well made, very neat peices of machinery, but the net result is that the Reddin does as well on the bench.
 
if its in sinclair, it is good.

i use an rcbs uniflow and like it well enough to not switch - but i haven't used anything else, either, so i may not know what i am missing.
 
I'm not sure if you can drop your own powder charge in the 650 or not. So this may be off topic.

I've been using the DPS 1200 for my charges. It has the capability of perfect accuracy each time but the software prevents it so you can expect +/1 0.10 grain deviations.

Initially I'll throw a charge a few grains short, then trickle up on a scale and powder trickler. Once I'm satisfied a few grains either way doesn't effect the harmonic, I don't worry about it and just throw the charge.

This is for match ammo. For the regular stuff I just use the one that came with the Dillon.
 
Friend of mine is deep into precision reloading. Weighs his cases, bullets, micrometer measurements and all. He throws his charges a little light and trickles on a electronic scale to get each charge as close to the same as possible. Each round is a separate project.
