I'm 53. My eyes have always needed corrective lenses. Now iron sights are getting harder and harder to use even with glasses and a good prescription and a bifocal with optimum focus at arms length.

So a while back I put a Red Dot sight on my S&W 686. Ahhhh... The difference is amazing. I love that set up.

So now I want to put one on my Taurus Raging Bull .44 Mag.

I suppose I could have the top strap drilled and tapped to accept a Weaver base like I've got on my 686 but I really don't wanna do that.

Anyone know of a mounting kit or something that just bolts on a RB so I don't have to get it drilled and tapped?

Inquiring minds want to know...

I have the Taurus M-44, which is very similar to the Raging Bull. The mount I used for my red-dot goes through the vent-rib above the barrell. It is rock solid, and I love the setup. Hope this helps.

Werewolf, check this sight out. They have listings for Tauri on the rings and mounts page. I have a B-Square mount on my S&W 686 with a Millet Red Dot. B-Square makes first class stuff. Good luck.

P.S. I'll be 52 next month. I know what you meen about fading eye sight.
