Reloading 9mm?

Remington 124 gr. JHPs are a good value in bulk, or if you prefer, the 115s are excellent as well. The Secret Service load is the 115 gr. Rem. JHP +P+.

The powder I like best is Ramshot Silhouette. It is somewhat similar to HS-6 and WSF. All three are manufactured by Primex, but Silhouette has a flash inhibitor. I also believe that Primex was out to duplicate the performance of an excellent Vihta Vouri powder when they created Silhouette: V-V 3N37. They are very similar in appearance and performance. Top-end loads are only about .2 grains apart with max loads.

For primers in 9mm, I'm sold on CCI-500s.

Brass: I use Win, R-P and Starline without issue. Sellior & Bellot is actually my preference even though many complain about tight primer pockets. Better seal for long term storage in my book. Not that I worry about that, but then again, I don't know how HoLarry got elected to the senate and if she/he gets elected president, I might start thinking about long term storage!;)

My go-to 9mm loads consist of: bulk Winchester 115 gr fmj, Winchester small pistol primers, and Hodgdon Universal Clays powder.
