I have a Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD .308 rifle incoming and would like to start my modifications by replacing the Hogue overmold stock. This will be pretty much a range target rifle. I've browsed a few websites and looked over the Choates, Bell & Carsons, McMillans etc. Would like to keep the cost to around $350 maximum, not opposed to something outside that if it really adds value, just don't want to dump $1k into a stock for a $700 gun.

Any suggestions for me from the experts?

Go with whichever Bell and Carlson model looks the most appealing to you. For the price, they can't be beat. If you have not already, check out www.stockysstocks.com. They have a great search feature that will show you every stock they have that will fit your action. A good stock and scope is all you really need to an AAC-SD great gun.

I upgraded mine with another HOUGE but with the molded in V block bedding. This is how cheap arse Remington should have shipped them!:scrutiny:
