Remington 722 stock conversion

Looking for someone who has taken a Remington 722 action and seated it in a 700 BDLstock, such as from Boyd's etc. I know I can use the original trigger & take out wood to make the stock safety work, but wanted to get around that as well as possibly upgrading trigger..Have read that the remmy 700 trigger will fit the action np, but how does the 700 safety fit in stock? Im sure it will sit higher, no clue how high, and don't know if I still have to remove wood from stock, or can the safety be heated, bent, filed etc. and leave the new stock alone?

Have found the timney 510, which states it fits 700, 722 etc..But it looks like it has the same short safety as the original 722, which would mean still removing wood.. They give very lil info.
