Remington Mohawk 600 ??

I just replace the scope on my mohawk and need a extra long screw for the rear Base Mount .The rear one piece base Mount comes with a factory shim.
The rear screw seen better days.
I like to ask anyone Know off hand the screw thread size.?
I will try Lowe's or home Depot if I new the correct thread size

You probably won't find that screw thread locally; If it's 6-48. You might want to get on the phone with Brownell's.

I also need it a little on the long side .410 length

go to your local gun shop and ask if they have a proper lenth screw, most shop,s have a box of small screws and may give you one free. take your old screw with you. eastbank.

I doubt Home Depot or Lowes can help you, but I've had good luck getting gun screws at Ace Hardware. Worth a shot...
