A while back I owned an SLR-95 and had replaced the stock with a Tapco T6 M4 style collapsible stock, and loved it.
I'm thinking about buying an SLR-106 now, and need to know if I can use a similar stock for stamped receiver aks on the 106.

I ask for two reasons;
1: The SLR-106 is neither 7.62x39 nor 5.45x39, so I'm concerned the stock I'm interested in wouldn't fit.
2: I have not seen any photos of an SLR-106 with a stock other than the one it comes with.

Probably a stupid question, but what the hell.
Better safe than sorry.

No, you won't be able to swap in a Tapco stock. The caliber isn't the issue; it's that the -106 (and every other AK-74 style sidefolder) uses a different rear trunnion than the standard fixed stock AKs.

I was looking at photos of the gun and thought it looked different, but couldn't tell for certain without actually handling one.
Ah, well. It using a side folding stock by default makes that not much of an issue.
