Whoo-hoo! I acquired a 1959 Remington Wingmaster this afternoon at the local pawn shop. It has a 28 inch barrel, mod choke, and is a 12 guage 2 3/4" shell gun. Finish has some spots that are worn, but not bad considering the age. Gave $150 for it and it cleaned up real nice! Time to BA/UU/R. This is my second Wingmaster, bought them both from the same pawn shop. The other is an 86 model, very nice condition. Only gave $160 for that one!

They can be had cheap, if you are patient! Dave, Lee, thanks for all the threads about these "Cinderella" guns!

:)

Very nice!!!
I hope to come across some great deals like this when I come on the market.
Wont be long. =D

Thanks, you made my morning. You have a great shotgun bought for a pittance. Enjoy....

I guess I need to visit pawn shops more often. I use them for FFL transfers, but maybe I should start shopping. Great buy.

The deals are out there, Hoghunting. The 1986 Wingmaster I bought is a 3" magnum receiver, 28" barrel with Remchokes. I was able to get that one for $160 because the guy didn't know it was a Wingmaster. I told him that I was looking for a Wingmaster and he said he didn't have any. Then he showed me that gun and I jumped on it.

The 1959 one I had to haggle, a lot. He told me he couldn't let a Wingmaster go for less than $200. :D
