resizing 280 rem to 30-06???

Can I take 280 brass and run it through a 30-06 resizing die to make 30-06???? I have a s*#t load of 280 brass and I want to use it instead of buying 06...I was thinking it make rip the necks...whats the consensus.

You can do this-lube the case and run it through a full length resizing die, and you will likely have to trim it. Biggest problem is that you will have to push the shoulder back quite a ways.
