Well I finally did it. I went and got a Smartcarry holster. After all this time of bad mouthing the idea, I succumbed to my own curiosity and took the plunge. I got the holster about a week ago. I was only fairly impress with the quality. I'm no seamstress but i do think I could do as good a job sewing this thing. I have carried with it quite a few times and have a great appreciation for this holster. It has be completely comfortable and very well hidden. My own wife hasn't been able to tell I'm wearing it. There is a slight bulge from the butt of the grip but nothing noticeable.
My main reason for wanting this holster was to have something use while jogging or bicycling. I have used this holster during both activities and it has worked perfectly. No discomfort. And while some feel uncomfortable with where the gun is pointing, The way I wear it and the way it is supposed to be worn, the gun actually points straight at the ground with nothing it is way besides clothing. I have carried my Ruger SP-101 in it and I am completely comfortable and absolutely love this holster. I can see this being my main mode of carry during the summer months and my backup during the winter. Its just great.
Here are some pictures.
More pictures of my wearing this rig to come. But later this afternoon.
