Revolver Question - Why not load all six?

Why do you need to put a revolver in full cock? If I load a Colt or Remmie C&B revolver, it's at first half cock and the cylinder is spinning freely; after it's loaded, simply align the pin and lower the hammer on said pin.
I am not recommending this method because I still think the empty chamber is safer, but I am saying you just don't have to bring a C&B revolver to full cock.
