RIA Tactical sights

Has anyone ever switched the sights out on their RIA tactical? If so, what have you replaced them with? Are the dovetails a standard cut?

They are Novak cuts, I've got it off currently getting a set of Novak titriums put on right now actually. Pretty much any Novak cut sight will fit.

Thanks Jenrick. Was not sure about the cut. Are you putting the sights on or is a smith doing it? Would like to see pics when finished.

I put a dawson precision fiber optic front sight on my tactical. The sights aren't an exact novak cut but dawson has sights. One thing I had two different tactical slides. On one the front dovetail was cut 10 to 15 thousands deeper than on the other slide.

The gun also shot about 2 to 3 inches high at 15 yards. I sent them the slide with a note stating how high the gun shot. They custom made the sight and installed it. When I got the slide back the gun shot to point of aim. The sight, install and return shipping was a little over $70. It was worth it.
