I have two 36" Condor soft sided rifle cases that each carry two rifles. I do not have a case that will fit my 20 and 24" barreled Bushmasters.

Condor makes a 42" and a 46" case

Both rifles have scopes on them almost as long as the gun!! ( humor?). Anyone wish to suggest a case of maybe a different flavor? The 24" Bushmaster is 42.5" long which might fit barely in the 42 condor?:scrutiny:

Yes and a good price but would prefer a case to carry both rifles in. Thank you.

Have you considered using one of Pelican's Gun Cases?

I think you could fit two rifles in the longer model (1750) if you placed them in opposing directions. Although with a mounted scope it might be close.

Thanks guys I bought two 46" aluminum gun cases.

I am going to have to cut a slot out in each to get the cases to close.

Any suggestions after the pattern is traced on a neat way to cut the foam?

I've cut foam neatly with sharp knives. Just let the blade cut it, and dont saw on it. It (my foam) came in layers, so I didn't need to worry about the bottom. I think that will be your problem, and I don't have any experience doing that to share with you. Good luck.

I use a razor utility knife to cut some, not all, of the foam out around the scope area.
