Rifle / Pistol Action Match, Enfield, NH

The Granite State Sharp Shooters (Youth rifle team of the Enfield, NH Outing Club) is holding a two gun action shoot in Enfield, NH September 7, 2013. Start time is 0800 hours. It will be at least 8 stages.

Handgun ranges from 3 yards out to 25 yards.

Rifle range max of 300 yard down to 7 yards.

You will need at least 50 rounds of center fire handgun ammo and 50 rounds of center fire rifle ammo if you clean the course. It will be challenging.

Cost is only $25.00 and all the proceeds will be going toward the GSSS.

The match will be held at two pits on Bog Road in Enfield, NH.

I'm interested to see how the 100 rounds of ammo get divided among those 8 stages. Doesn't exactly sound like a terribly exciting match.

Break down

Long bow event. Is a steel target set between 200 and 300 yards. 2 rounds standing, 2 rounds either kneeling or sitting and 6 rounds prone. Timed

Fast and Furious is a rifle event steel and paper targets set from 7 yards to 100 yards various distance and with some no shoots mixed in. 1 hit on each target, reload and shoot in reverse order hit each target.

Climb up and down the ladder. Shoot behind barricade one hit at each level strong side and one hit each level support side.

High angle shooting. We have a stage several targets set out and you are shooting at a high angle.

Handgun, Simulated shoot house, with shoot and no shoot targets.

We had a planned car jacking stage.

A run and gun stage

Plate racks.

All money raised will go two the Granite State Sharp Shooters, Youth shooting team. A fun match for a great cause.
