Demi-human
maybe likes firearms a little bit…
Sunday morning around 4:40AM I received an alert from RTB about a CMMG 22lr pencil AR barrel that had just come into stock.
Neat! An alert notification that actually works!
But I was torn! I had already ordered one from Beyer Barrels and was patiently waiting for it to arrive. Did I mention I have the willpower of a toddler? I put one in my cart, and subsequently removed it, at least four times.
Well, I got me on the fifth time and rationalized it fairly well as an experiment to test and see if I like silver or black better.
Excuse made, I purchased the barrel. But what’s this? Aww, dang! Their 17.76% promo code was erased during my argument with myself!
Oh, well. But, not really. That was $26.43 I could not spend on ammunition for this new Funstick. I called them and left a message as I drove to work, stating I had forgotten the promo code and would appreciate some help with order #500xxx. But, if not, to have a fantastic day anyhow because they were the only ones to have a barrel in months!
In about thirty minutes I received some emails from RTB. One was the invoice for the barrel. The next was a note stating they had received my message and they were glad they finally got some in after a long kibosh. Mine was the first to ship out of this batch. They edited my order and refunded me their sale amount. And they were glad I will enjoy it.
After that was the UPS shipping notification that they had upgraded it to 2nd day air!
Dang, guys! Thanks! RightToBear.com rocks! They went far past required customer service. And yes, is is nice to get a deal, but this isn’t the first time I’ve had a really great experience securing information and product from them. The representative knew what he was selling and helped me get all the parts needed for my first barrel change a few years ago.
As things start picking back up keep them in mind. They get a happy endorsement from me.
UPS made their deadline at 6:59pm this evening.
Packed nicer than Midway…
7:21pm.
Everything functions perfectly, quietly…
