Not only Oleg’s RKBA posters are powerful and igniting. They are also true pieces of art. If only somebody would have a good idea how to present them to the masses in the form of a traveling exhibition… If this thought translates into a project I would be happy to be a part of a “working group.†Curators or just folks with good connections to art museum sponsors are wanted.
The exhibitions are a solid source of revenue for art museums around the country. And some museums, even in traditionally liberal states, don’t hesitate to present arms-related art. For more than two months, Minneapolis Institute of Arts (general admission-free) charges $6 for Three Centuries of Tradition: The Renaissance of Custom Sporting Arms in America (on display through 10/5). The museum was the target of very harsh criticism in local liberal press – that worked great for the exhibition publicity.
BTW, as Oleg wrote in a-human-right.com's FAQ, he is “… in need of people to appear in my posters: if you are not camera-shy, please contact me.†Monitoring his work on-line for long time, I see many new faces “jumping†into his art work in a couple months after he gives an on-line hint of his new ZIP code, even within the same Metro. And that’s what happened recently, according to that site. I guess a chance to be viewed in museum environment should inspire some potential models to come forward
